Nutella is one of the things that people love seeing on their breakfast tables.

However, you might have to think twice before buying another large bottle of it. This is because it has ingredients that might harm your health. Ingredients such as sugar and vanillin.

According to meghantelpner.com, eating Nutella first thing in the morning is not good for your health. "High Sugar intake first thing in the morning will spike blood sugar level, resulting in a plummet mid morning and contribute to poor concentration, hyperacidity and aggression."

Meghan Telpner also gave a nutritional breakdown for Nutella-- "Nutella contains 70% saturated fat and processed sugar by weight. A two-tablespoon (37 gram) serving of Nutella contians 200 calories including: 99 calories from 11 grams of fat (3.5g of which are saturated), 80 calories from 21 grams of sugar."

Besides all the fat and sugar that may damage your health, there is an ingredient that is considered to be one of the most harmful ingredients in Nutella. According to snopes.com, "vanillin is nothing but chemicals." The site also stated that "vanillin is about 95% of the scent." Vanillin also has monosodium glutamate (MSG), an ingredient that can really damage your health if you consume it daily.

The American Nutrition Association claims that excitotoxin is a "taste that kills". Excitotoxins are glutamate, aspartate and cysreine, amino acids which "excite our neurons" but can cause blood-brain barrier and neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.

So Moms, better check the label and research the ingredients before feeding them to your kids.
