A viral photo of a 101-year old woman holding her great-granddaughter while sleeping touched the hearts of many. Sadly, the woman died weeks after the photo was taken.

In the photo, you will see 101-year old Rosa Camfield of Gilbert, Arizona carefully holding her great-granddaughter Kaylee Hamm while sleeping. The photo was originally posted by her granddaughter Sarah Hamm and was shared to the Facebook page of  "Life of Dad".

According to Patrick Quinn, co founder of Life of Dad, he said : "We were in complete shock that the picture took off like it did then when I posted it I thought a few of our fans would feel connected to it as I did. Then, within an hour, it was clear that I had underestimated the impact it would have with people as it was shared and liked hundreds of times per minute."

As of now, the photo reached 2,549,457 likes and 80,618 shares.

Grandma Rosa was born on June 13,1913 on Friday the 13th and was the youngest of two children She has three children, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sarah Hamm said that grandma Rosa was funny and has a lot of stories to tell when she was still alive. Grandma Rosa loved to paint and crochet and was a retired elementary school teacher.

Its agreeable that the photo was heartwarming. It seem most of the people were moved by it plus were amazed by the superb age gap of 101 years! Its rare for someone to live that long and to hold her great-grandchild. Unfortunately, she'll not be able to witness the growth and development of Kaylee Hamm. But everyone will remember her story and this touching picture. We might not know Kaylee Hamm might see this picture of her and her grandmother in the future.
