Everyone's body has its own unique features. Every once in a while, we find some features that others do not share with us, and we cannot help but wonder why.

Have you ever notice small holes in another person's ear? Only a few have them. Statistics show that they are found in only 10% of African regions and only about 2.5% of Taiwanese individuals.

Ever Notice This Tiny Hole In Some People's Ears? This Is What It Means!

This hole, which is called 'ear pit',  is commonly caused by congenital malformation. Experts identify it as a minor birth defect. Some evolutionists speculate that these are remnants of our evolutionary pasts, as we were believed to have been water dwellers with fish gills.

Ear pits can be hereditary and they don't just appear on the ears. They can also be seen in other parts of the body.
