The Philippine National Police chief, Chief Supt. Ronald Dela Rosa promised that he will pursue and be tough on the people involved with drugs.
He vowed to be as strict as the future commander in chief, Rodrigo Duterte.
Dela Rosa also gave a strict warning to all the policemen who are getting protection money from the illegal trade of drugs.
Ronald Dela Roxas was the former police provincial director of Davao. He belongs to the Class '86 of the Philippine Military Academy.
He also said that he will be doing his best to keep up with the plan of Duterte to get rid of crime in the Philippines in just 3-6 months after he takes the seat in palace.
Pertaining to the senior police officers who were bypassed because of his appointment.
