Based on the study that was conducted by experts, washing raw chicken is a big no-no. When a chicken is placed on the sink and get splashed with tap water the chances of having the bacteria from the chicken to the kitchen utensils, clothes and hands is high.

Freezing the raw chicken will lower down the bacteria of Campylobacter.

-Always make sure that the chicken would be covered and chilled to decrease the number bacteria.
-Wash the utensils that are used for the preparation of the chicken. Remove the bacteria by rinsing it with warm water.
-Do not wash the raw chicken, it only spreads the bacteria.
-Prepare and cook the chicken thoroughly to make sure that you will remove all the bacteria.
