Watermelons are a delicious and healthy treat, especially on a hot day

Not only is the fruit is a great way to hydrate the body but is also full of vitamin C. It is also a good source of vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, biotin, copper, magnesium, potassium, ca. 

Watermelons also contain high concentrations of lycopene and phenolic antioxidants. Lycopene is a carotenoid phytonutrient that is important for cardiovascular health. Many scientists believe that lycopene is beneficial for bone health as well. 

But what about watermelon seeds? Do we simply throw them away? 

As it turns out, watermelon seeds have many beneficial properties as well. The seeds are full of essential proteins and fatty acids. They also have minerals like manganese, iron, zinc and phosphorus.


Recipe for Watermelon seed tea:

-Prepare 20-30 seeds to grind.
-After grinding, boil the ground up seeds for 15 minutes in 2 liters of water.
-Consume the tea for 2 days for several weeks.

The tea made from boiling these seeds are may treat kidney and urinary diseases. Other benefits include: ache removal, hair strengthening, treatment of diabetes, treatment of edema, enhances male fertility and slow aging.
