Known to be an authoritarian, presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte is known for leading the city of Davao to success and one of the safest cities in the world. He is now bound to make this change to the entire Philippines as well. From the city, it is now his duty to lead the Philippines into a better, safer and more successful country that it could possibly be.
'What I will do is urge Congress to restore death penalty by hanging,' this is the statement that he said in a press briefing that he had in Davao.
This is one of his steps in making sure that the numbers of drugs and criminality rate would decrease in the Philippines.
He would also make a 'shoot-to-kill' order for those criminals who are brutally resisting the arrest.
