#PiAtom became one of the most trending hashtags on Twitter. It was the combination of the name of Pia Wurtzbach and Atom Araullo after the Umagang Kay Ganda host made a joke towards the reigning Miss Universe 2015.
In the interview that she had on 'Umagang Kay Ganda', Pia Wurtzbach admitted that she is still single and have no plans on focusing on her lovelife since she has a busy schedule. But then Atom Araullo surprisingly joke that he could understand the busy schedule of Pia.
The interview happened on January 5. Since then, the people over the social media sites could not stop linking the names of Pia and Atom that is why they came up with a nickname PiAtom which is often given to love teams.
The post then was seen by Atom's mother, Carol Araullo who was surprised that his son acted that way claiming that he is a shy guy. It seems that the mother is in favor of the newest love team PiAtom.
