It is a world known issue that China is now being more aggressive when it comes to claiming their territories especially when it comes to the Spratly Islands dispute. There is a tension between the Philippines and the China.
There are claims that the Chinese people are now dumping chemicals around the area of the island so that the civilians' livelihood activities would be paralyzed that would eventually lead them to leaving the place.
This was concluded after the massive fish kill happened around the Pag-asa island and the coral reefs were destroyed.
The Pag-asa island is the only island which is inhibited by civilians.
