The same day as the Christmas is also the time when the film entries for the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) starts showing to the public. It is the time when the cinemas are filled with a large crowd wanting to see what this years's films has to offer.
For the 2015 MMFF, the leading movies are My BebeLove of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, Beauty and the Bestie of Coco Martin and Vice Ganda and All you Need Is Pag-ibig of Kris Aquino.
But aside from the fair competition, there had been controversies that Ticket-Swapping is happening in a lot of cinemas today.
Based on the tweet that Direk Reyes posted, Ticket-Swapping has been happening since the start of the showing date.
It is not only the director of the entry My Bebe love that spoke about the alleged swapping in the ticket sales. One concerned citizen said that they wanted to watch the movie of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza but the ticketing sales officer gave them the ticket of Beauty And The Bestie.
Ticket-Swapping happens when the moviegoer for example wanted to see My Bebelove, they would buy a ticket for that. But they would be given a different ticket such as Beauty and the Bestie or All you need is Pag ibig. It is happening so that the other films would sell more.
The director warns the public to take a closer look of the tickets that they are being given.
