After several speculations from insiders, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid herself finally addressed to the rumors of her moving to the same network as her husband's Ogie Alcasid which is TV 5.
“No, even if I want to, I cannot because I’m still under contract with GMA-7. And I have no plans of moving kasi ang bait naman ng GMA sa akin. As of now, my only show with them is ‘Sarap Diva’ and it’s my choice. I’m glad they understand that now that Nate is in his formative years, I really want to spend more time with him,” answered the Asia's Songbird during the launch of one of her endorsements.
It was noted that Ogie Alcasid moved to the rival station, and soon enough their good friend, actor-singer Janno Gibbs transferred to the same network as well. However, it appeared that for Mrs. Alcasid, it is not enough convincing for her to leave her home network.
